I am so going to get angry letters about this one, but ok….here goes.
Merry late Xmas. As part of my sacred sexual practice, and yearly passing the time in decadent beauty ritual, I attend 4+ Catholic Masses a year. They are typically Midnight Mass on Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and Easter….with Midnight Mass and Ash Wednesday being by far my favourites.
Why do I do this? well there are a number of reasons, but the key attractions are: 1) The ritual. there are few outlets such as this where ceremonial magic is performed to this degree of splendour, with this volume of people, and with this degree of intensity. this is also the reason why I go on these bang-for-the buck days, bc attendance is high, and therefor the ornateness is pushed and the energy is BOOMING. 2) Catholic mass, ie the transubstantiation of the sacred host is one of the most sublimely, subliminally erotic acts of sublimation I have ever seen/experienced period….PERIOD.
You are asked to take the body , of one whom you love and who loves you, into your mouth,
and that it and the subsequent blood that follows will nourish you. This is Gnosis ov thee Rosy Cross, in one ritual en-mass…literally. The fact that none of them know, understand, or choose to make this connection for themself not only doesnt matter to me, but in fact it enhances this on a magickal level, as I am able to reap the benefit of this energy that would otherwise be simply charging objects on a an altar I dont control. By allowing myself to be energized by mass, first clearing out the debris with the Apostle’s Creed, ie professing true faith, and then asserting myself into a receptive pose (open) during the Lord’s prayer, I feel a rush, I am high, I am flooded with spiritual energy and pleasure pathway neurochemicals…….
So i get *REALLY* pissed off when they don’t deliver the goods. The last two years I have gone to midnight mass on Christmas eve, they have not administered the Holy Sacrament of the Blood, ie the wine along with the Holy Host, the wafer. This to me, is like a cross between not being able to cum despite really wanting to (ie blueballs) or going down on your lover for hours without the satisfaction of making them cum. And beyond that, it is also sexually and spiritually vampiric. 
If you think about sex acts or spiritual acts as generating energy, which I do, then to build and build energy or add and add energy as with this example and to receive none of it in return is an act of theft….it is not consensual…..If they were to say: “Hey by the way, the Holy Sacrament of the Blood will no longer be administered” then you would be making your own decision as to whether or not to engage, with consent. However, to use the analogy, if you were to engage in a sex act with someone who knew from the start, but didnt tell you, that they were intentionally going to hold back, id be pissed off that I didnt get to decide if I wanted to engage in a mutual situation. When you disrupt that power dynamic without consent, that is energy theft, and spiritual rape…..
And Im just superstitious enough to believe that it was responsible for last year’s roster of un-fulfilling sex(ie bad sex, or selfish lovers) and now Im concerned that Ive been cursed into another one! UGH UGH UGH when will the madness end?

If you’re superstitious enough to believe that the withholding of the Holy Sacrament of the Blood impacted you negatively, you’re superstitious enough to believe that you can counterbalance it. …not that I would know how, not being an intrinsically spiritual person, but I wish you the best of luck in the search for a cure to your curse.
ohhhhh come on now.
I thought Catholic Mass always withheld the wine from the congregation. If you want a sip, you have to go elsewhere – eg, Episcopalisn.
